Kohli will be joining the list of celebrities, including badminton champion Saina Nehwal, women’s world boxing champion Mary Kom and Bollywood actress Mughda Godse who are already endorsing the firm’s products.
“We have been in talks with Virat Kohli for some time. Now he is finally on board to endorse our range of nutritional food products, health and dietary supplements, health drinks among others,” Herbalife India Country Manager Ajay Khanna told reporters here.
The company also said it plans to launch a slew of products particularly in the personal care segment as part of its strategy to maintain its double digit growth in India.
“We are launching a host of products this year. We will expand our personal care range in India,” he said but did not disclose details.
